2010 Upcoming Overnighters - Members Only

Please note recommended skill levels for these overnight rides. These rides are for advanced and experienced riders as noted. Advance reservation are required by signing up when ride information is available at our Chapter meeting. View below Recommended Skill Levels.

Experienced	March 13-14	Sat - Sun	TWO DAY OVERNIGHTER - Rain or Shine to Ojai Experienced riding skills required for extended freeway riding and tight twisty roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Experienced	April 16 -18	Fri - Sun	THREE DAY OVERNIGHTER - Rain or Shine to Paso Robles Experienced riding skills required for extended freeway riding and tight twisty mountain roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Experienced	May 21 -23	Fri - Sun	THREE DAY OVERNIGHTER - Rain or Shine to Lompoc Experienced riding skills required for freeway riding and tight twisty mountain roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Experienced	July 1 -5	Thu - Mon	FIVE DAY OVERNIGHTER - SUMMER CRUISE Rain or shine to Oakhurst Experienced riding skills required for extended freeway riding and tight twisty mountain roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Advanced	Sept 11-12	Sat - Sun	TWO DAY OVERNIGHTER - Rain or shine to Big Bear Advanced riding skills needed for highway riding and lengthy twisty back roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Experienced	Oct 8 -11	Fri -Mon	FOUR DAY OVERNIGHTER - FALL CRUISE Rain or shine to Monterey Experienced riding skills required for extended freeway riding and tight twisty mountain roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
Experienced	Nov 26-28	Fri - Sun	THREE DAY OVERNIGHTER - Rain or shine to Death Valley Experienced riding skills required to extended freeway riding and tight twisty mountain roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.

OCHOG Ride Codes - Recommended Skill Levels

Ride CodesM = MEMBERS – For chapter members only + one guest on the member’s bike
C = CLOSED – For chapter members + one guest on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle
O = OPEN – For chapter members, National HOG members, and other guests

Riding Skill Requirements• BASIC - 1,000 riding miles required and experience at going over Ortega Hwy or similar twisty roads. Comfortable riding on the freeway.
•• INTERMEDIATE – 5,000 riding miles required and experience at riding highways and twisty back-roads.
••• ADVANCED – 10,000 riding miles required and skilled at riding long distances and lengthy twisty roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
•••• EXPERIENCED – Highly developed riding skills required to ride up to 500-mile days at sustained highway speeds, and be able to handle high to extreme twisty roads. Must be able to keep up with the group.
